The National Aviary in Pittsburgh

by Papi

We loved the Aviary the first time we went last year and I have no idea why it took us so long to go back. Katie’s interest in animals has only grown since and she was absolutely delighted.

We used the great opportunity they most museums offer to put the money we paid for admission for that day towards purchasing a membership for both the Aviary and the Children’s museum. The total value of a family pass is $180.  A single visit costed us $40, so I will call it well worthy if you are animal lovers. If you’d only like to purchase a family membership for the aviary, that will cost $85, so it basicaly pays itself off in two visits.
